Role Overview
Sera Neon is seeking an accomplished Senior Oracle Finance Functional Consultant to join our growing Oracle practice in the UK. This role is ideal for a highly experienced consultant with deep expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Fusion Financials, capable of leading complex transformation programmes, optimising finance operations, and delivering strategic solutions for enterprise clients.
The successful candidate will work closely with finance stakeholders, project teams, and technical consultants to design, implement, and support robust Oracle Finance solutions that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Oracle Finance solution design, implementation, and optimisation projects
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from key stakeholders.
- Provide functional expertise across Oracle Finance modules including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Cash Management (CM)
- Project Costing / Billing
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients on Oracle Finance best practice and process improvements.
- Produce high-quality functional design documents, solution blueprints, and test scripts.
- Support integrations with third-party systems such as payroll, banking, expense, tax, and reporting tools.
- Lead workshops, solution reviews, UAT, training, and post-go-live support.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to practice capability development.
- Support pre-sales activities including proposals, solution demonstrations, and estimations.
Required Skills & Experience
- 15+ years’ Oracle consulting experience, with strong experience in Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Fusion Finance.
- Proven track record delivering multiple full lifecycle Oracle Finance implementations.
- Strong functional knowledge of finance processes, controls, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in solution architecture and cross-functional integrations.
- Strong understanding of Oracle reporting tools (OTBI / BI Publisher / Smart View desirable).
- Good working knowledge of SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Exposure to Projects Finance, Cost Accounting, and P2P / O2C processes preferred.
- Experience working with UK clients and understanding UK finance regulatory requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
