Case Studies
Sera Neon had won an initial 10-week tender in Nov 2021 to provide HWU with a review and remediation of their Oracle Cloud Implementation. It was soon realised other areas required attention. Sera Neon provided their services in the areas of Integration, Reporting, HR Operations, Finance, Procurement and HCM functionality until Sept 2023. Sera Neon provided support for and made improvements to the Oracle Fusion Cloud platform during this period.
Sera Neon have provided Oracle Fusion Advisory services in the areas of User Provisioning & Security, EPM, Fusion Configuration and EPM Report Design and Build. Where we had limited existing experience in-house with Oracle Fusion EPM and a significant business transformation enabled by EPM will deliver productivity and user experience benefits to our clients and our own business as a shared services provider
Sera Neon have assisted in assessing the quality of the configuration being implemented and suggested improvement where Oracle Best Practice were not followed which would have an impact on user experience and business as usual running costs. Sera Neon have done a particularly good job in gathering the multitude of varied business requirements, reviewing all as is legacy reports and present us with a harmonized single suite of reports and dashboard including supporting centralized processes to exploit the EPM solution in an optimal manner in a shared services environment. This will save significant amounts of costs due to harmonizing 12 different suites of reports and processes to a single centralized process and suite of reports.
Sera Neon have worked alongside client users to aid the UAT process and ensure the right and complete test are being executed and identify opportunities to enhance the Oracle Fusion solution post Go Live creating an opportunities log for continuous improvement.
Over the past 8 months Sera Neon has become a trusted partner across the Oracle Fusion solution and have embedded themselves as colleagues alongside our own staff to help embed and exploit the Fusion solution.
The London Borough of Barnet has now gone live with its implementation of Oracle Cloud. A key success factor in achieving this was the partnership working with Sera Neon Ltd.
Sera Neon were brought in to provide integration and custom reports development. During the programme it became evident that there were issues with legacy HR data. Based on their knowledge of the HR data Sera Neon were engaged at short notice to transform the complex dataset. The quality of the transformation work undertaken by the Sera Neon team ensured that the full data migration was 100% successful.
Their approach to this work was exemplary and was instrumental in the council being able to go live on time. The success of this work has led the council to award the Payroll data migration (planned for early 2025) to Sera Neon.
